Train by the Sea

I chose to take this picture from the train of the North Sea because the sky was so beautiful and I liked the movement blurr of the trees and grass. I put it up because I thought it turned out to be a really pretty photo from the train of the sea and I like the composition.

Castle beyond the railroad

This castle overlooks the railroad, it almost looks like its flowing down the hill. I chose to take this picture the way I did because I feel like it leads your eye from the upper left to the lower right and how beautiful the building is. I chose to use it as my architecture piece because I didn't want to the same building as I used for my night piece but this building and that building were my favorite looking buildings that I saw.

Lions Stare

The stare of the lion, I took this picture because I was amazed by the detail and craftsmanship of the sculpture. So I took a close up of the lion and I feel it gives a almost sad longing stare. I chose this for my still life because I think it has good composition and I really like the expression of the lion, that's why I chose this picture.

Family Connection

I chose this picture for my people picture; I absolutely love this picture. I feel like there is such a strong connection between this family which I found at the train station. They are all connected either through touch or sight. I chose to include this picture because it was my favorite picture I took while on the field trip. Its defiantly one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken.

Growth

The growth of a plant is rapid and amazing, I took this picture because I needed to take a close up for class and I really like how almost abstract it is and it almost takes on multiple identities can you really tell what exactly it is? I like that mystery about it. i chose this picture because it was my favorite picture I took of the day and I wanted to include it.

Light up the town

As I was walking down Princes Street I saw this magnificent building lit up, this lights almost looks like torches. I was inspired to take this shot because I thought it was a beautiful building and looking up at it all lit up made me almost feel like I had gone back in time. I chose to include this shot because I thought that it used the rule of thirds nicely, and I like how the picture turned out.

Green Gate

My abstract shot, I chose to shoot this because I found in to have an eye leading effect from one side of the picture to the other. I chose to make the picture darker and a green tint because the gate was green and I exaggerated what the weather was really like with the dulling of color and contrast. I chose to include this picture because I think its a real eye catcher and it gives you a mood of solemness.

All aboard

This is my motion photograph. With the rush of the train and the traffic of the people I found that it was the perfect shot for motion because practically everything in the photograph is in motion. I chose to put this picture on my blog because I thought it was a visually interesting piece and a perfect shot for motion.

reach to the heavens

This is my low camera angle. I thought that this picture exaggerates the size of the column making it appear to stretch to the heavens. I was inspired to take this because I liked the angle and how it effected my perception of the column. I chose this picture to put on my blog because I think its the perfect picture to define a low camera angle in I really like how the picture turned out.

Round About

I took this picture to use as my high camera angle. Its a shot of the round about in front of the column. I was inspired to take this shot because i thought it was a nice shot that included the town and the statue in the middle of the round about. I included it into my blog because I thought that it was a decent high camera angle shot.
